Lottery Funding 18 Jan 2024
Muintir na Mointeach are delighted to announce that we have received funding from the National Lottery for an Energy & Information capital Project upgrade to the Washingbay Centre. You may have noticed that we have installed a new Digital Sign on the Front of the building, committee members have been asked many times about what is happening in the Hall. We hope that the installation of the new sign will keep the whole community aware of what is going on “@Washingbay” and help encourage people to take part in the many activities that are happening each week.
We have also invested in an upgrade to the Solar Panel system by adding a Battery capture that ensures our energy use is as efficient as it can be. This will help reduce the cost of running the centre and is a way of us doing our bit as a community for the environment. Thank you to the National Lottery Team for there help in delivering these changes.
